Cesare Tallone, 1853-1919, PORTRAIT OF COUNTESS GIUSTINA CASTELLI Oil on canvas. 164×113.5 cm. I sign “C. Tallone” on the lower right. In gilded frame. Three-quarter portrait of the subject in an elegant armchair, wearing a white dress, in front of a light background with an impressionistic look. She has black hair, finely curved brows, red lips, and her dark eyes look directly at the viewer. She wears gold earrings, a gold bracelet on her left wrist and a precious ring. In his right hand he holds a fan. Her light-flooded, partial full dress with a wide décolleté almost seems to blend in with the background. Impressionist painting with particular attention to the countess portrayed. Accompanied by a certificate on the artist of Finarte Casa d’Aste in Milan
